• Compete on leaderboards

We use artificial intelligence to generate quiz questions from your content. The AI may occasionally produce inaccurate or unexpected results.

3User Accounts

Some features may require account creation. When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4Your Content

Ownership: You retain ownership of content you submit to Zapply (documents, URLs, text). However, by submitting content, you grant us a license to use it.

License Grant: By submitting content, you grant Zapply a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

• Process your content through AI services to generate quizzes
• Store, display, and distribute generated quizzes
• Use generated content for service improvement

Your Responsibility: You represent that:

• You own or have rights to submit the content
• Your content doesn't infringe on others' intellectual property
• Your content doesn't violate any laws or regulations

5Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use Zapply to:

• Illegal content: Create or share content that violates any laws
• Harmful content: Harassment, hate speech, threats, or content promoting violence
• Spam: Mass-create low-quality or duplicate quizzes
• Misinformation: Deliberately create quizzes with false information
• Inappropriate content: Adult, explicit, or NSFW material
• Impersonation: Pretend to be someone else or misrepresent affiliation
• Malware: Upload viruses, malicious code, or harmful files
• System abuse: Attempt to hack, overload, or disrupt our services
• Scraping: Automated data collection without permission
• Cheating: Manipulate scores, leaderboards, or game mechanics

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend users who violate these policies.

6Intellectual Property

Zapply's Property: The Service, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by Zapply. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without permission.

Third-Party Content: When you create quizzes from third-party sources (YouTube, websites, etc.):

• The original content remains property of its owners
• Quiz generation is provided as a transformative educational tool
• You're responsible for ensuring you have rights to use the source material

DMCA / Copyright Claims: If you believe content on Zapply infringes your copyright, contact us at legal@zapply.io with:

• Description of the copyrighted work
• Location of the infringing content
• Your contact information
• Statement of good faith belief

7AI-Generated Content

Zapply uses artificial intelligence to generate quiz questions. You acknowledge that:

• AI limitations: AI may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate content
• No guarantee: We don't guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated quizzes
• Review recommended: You should review generated quizzes before sharing
• Educational use: Quizzes are for entertainment and informal learning, not authoritative assessment

8Disclaimers

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Availability, accuracy, or reliability

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The Service is free of viruses or harmful components
• Results from using the Service will be accurate or reliable

9Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zapply shall not be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your data
• Damages resulting from third-party conduct on the Service

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.

10Termination

By You: You may stop using Zapply at any time. You can delete your quizzes and request account deletion.

By Us: We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Conduct that we determine is harmful to other users or the Service
• Any reason at our sole discretion

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

11Changes to Terms

• For material changes, we may provide additional notice
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
